CARTER CUP

Every other year, the IGA selects 10 of its most talented amateurs to square off against 10 PGA members from the Snake River Chapter in this Ryder-Cup style event. Players from across amateur, mid-amateur, and senior amateur divisions are selected at the discretion of the IGA based on tournament performance over the year leading up to the Carter Cup. In 49 playings, the PGA leads the IGA 36-13.

LAMEY CUP

Beginning in 2006, the Lamey Cup pits mixed-gender teams of 12 from Idaho, Washington, Oregon and British Columbia against each other over a two-days of four-ball, foursomes and singles match play. Each team must be comprised of eight men and four women from across mid-amateur and senior divisions. Team Idaho captured its only win in 2017 at TimberStone Golf Course in Caldwell, Idaho.
